Clutter & Blunt Called Up To CBRE's DC Office Investment Team

CBRE boosted its DC office investment team with two professionals from outside markets to expand the firm's office property sales business in the Washington DC area.
Ryan Clutter, an executive vice president who previously handled institutional investor sales in the Carolinas where his team successfully elevated the office and industrial sales for CBRE by 50%, will relocate to join the Washington team.
Joining him is Michael Blunt, a senior vice president from the firm's Philadelphia investment sales team where he played an important role in establishing a partnership of 19 senior capital market professionals known as the CBRE National Partners.

Berkadia Commercial Hires New SVP in Dallas

Berkadia Commercial Mortgage LLC?s Dallas office has named Joseph N. Hevey senior vice president with the company?s loan originations division. Hevey has 30 years of experience in the industry and will be assisting with arranging debt and equity on income-producing real estate investments.
Senior vice president John V. Koeijmans said, "Joe is very knowledgeable and has built an outstanding reputation over his 30 years in the mortgage banking business." He adds, "He will be a valuable asset to the Berkadia community and we are extremely pleased to have him on our team."
Hevey recently served as managing director for Cohen Financial, headquartered in Chicago, and was responsible for the analysis, origination and placement of real estate debt and equity throughout the US. Hevey is currently an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Mortgage Bankers Association and was managing director for 14 years with HFF LP.

Colliers Promotes Multifamily Specialists Koskovich, Sherman

Trevor Koskovich and Jeffrey Sherman with Colliers International in Greater Phoenix were both promoted to the position of vice president of multifamily properties. Both joined Colliers in 2009, and by 2010 were ranked as the third top producing team in the Phoenix region.
Sherman and Koskovich, along with senior vice president Bill Hahn, make up the Colliers HSK (Hahn, Sherman, Koskovich) multifamily specialists team. The top-10 producing team specializes in the evaluation, marketing, acquisition and disposition of investment-grade, income-producing multifamily properties and portfolios ranging in size from 40 to 300 units.
Sherman graduated magna cum laude from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University (ASU) with a bachelor's in finance and a diploma from the Barrett Honors College. Koskovich received a bachelor's in communication, with a minor in business economics, also from ASU.

CBRE Hires Two New Retail Professionals

CBRE hired Drew Chorney as a vice president and John Cavin as an associate in the retail brokerage services group. Based in the Nashville, TN office, both will provide planning and transaction advisory services for institutional landlords and tenants throughout the mid-south.
Prior to joining CBRE, both worked for The Shopping Center Group. Cavin was responsible for the marketing, leasing, and disposition of retail properties in Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Chorney was responsible for providing financial analysis, deal negotiation, property marketing, and leasing of class A retail space and representing big box tenants.
Chorney holds an MBA and a bachelor's in biochemistry from Eastern Michigan University. Cavin holds a bachelor's in real estate and finance from Florida State University.

CBRE Hires Burke

Dann Burke has joined CBRE as a vice president, specializing in medical office leasing and healthcare strategies. Burke will oversee the leasing activity of a medical office portfolio totaling more than 2.5 million square feet in Metro Denver and Colorado Springs, CO.
Prior to joining CBRE, Burke served as a senior director at Newmark Knight Frank Frederick Ross. He brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing, development and design and construction and more than 10 years of health care specialty focus to his new post at CBRE.

Pirrera Joins Wentworth Property Management Corp

Cynthia Pirrera, CMCA, AMS joined Wentworth Property Management Corp., Inc. as vice president in the firm's Eatontown, NJ office. She will manage high rise operations in New Jersey and develop community-wide initiatives with municipalities throughout the entire Wentworth portfolio.
Pirrera is a certified manager of community associations, receiving the certification while serving as the president of the Community Association Institute, New Jersey Chapter, as well as the vice president and COO at Signature Property Group in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Pirrera holds a council position in Palisades Park, and formerly served as a committeewoman for Bergen County.

Harris Moves to Cassidy Turley

Jack Harris has joined Cassidy Turley San Diego's multifamily investment team as an associate vice president. Harris joins the firm with nearly a decade of experience in multifamily real estate including asset acquisitions and dispositions. He will work out the Cassidy Turley's Carlsbad office.

Prior to joining Cassidy Turley, Harris was vice president of transactions at Pacific Living Properties, where he managed acquisitions and dispositions. During his tenure, the firm acquired 3,000 apartment units and expanded its market presence throughout the West Coast.

New Director at Colliers International SW Florida

Colliers International Southwest Florida has a new director for its industrial and land services team. Dan Miller joins the Fort Myers office, bringing more than thirty years of experience, most recently with Re/Max Realty Group.
Miller has local market experience and has worked on real estate projects and selling land for the development of residential communities. He has been representing bank-owned land and industrial properties, and helping investors liquidate their assets. He also has experience working with landlords and tenants on lease negotiations.

His unique talents will help facilitate our continued market growth," said Jim Garinger, CCIM, SIOR, senior managing director and principal of Colliers International Southwest Florida.
