Hi there, Ohs here and I am waving hello with both front paws. I was the kitten of two feral cats and I am a perfect example of a Feral kitten that probably could have been socialized and made someone a really nice pet. Feral kittens, if they are caught soon enough and taken away from the feral mom, who teaches them to be afraid. can become very tame. This is our subject for World cat day, and that is to please help feral kitties whenever you can.

As you can see, I am really very tame around the Person. I am hanging out here on the porch. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of people that come here, so I never had a chance to get used to different people. The Person thinks that if there was a way to socialize the feral kittens, they would make wonderful pets. So it is in the best interest of the kittens to grab them as soon as possible, like four weeks, and start feeding them.

Hi there, Orange boyz here. I am a perfect example of a feral kitten that was socialized only one time and ever since then, I don't mind strangers at all. When I was a tiny kitten and wild, the next door neighbor came over with her 4 year old granddaughter, and that little girl was determined to hold me and carry me around. For some reason I let her do it and she was carrying me in a very strange position. I was hanging over her little arm. She would put me down and rather than run away from her, I let her pick me up again and again.? I guess because she was such a small child, I learned not to be afraid of people. So the feral kitties can become wonderful pets.
