Abilene Mayor Norm Archibald has declared this Wednesday (12/19) as a "Day of Remembrance" for the families of the tragic school shooting that killed 26 people in Newtown, Conn.
The entire community is invited to join Archibald and Abilene ISD Superintendent Heath Burns for a time of prayer and reflections.
It's being held at the Civic Center lobby, by the community Christmas tree, at noon Wednesday.
